Restaurant Zur Luppbode in Treseburg

The plan was a short vacation with an adult and two children. The family room was equipped accordingly and there was no reason to use it. The breakfast we booked was rich and tasty. The kids were happy about muesli and cocoa. We stopped for dinner every day and ordered from the menu. The food was really good and the kids enjoyed the kids' menu, which had a good selection. Small negative point ... you couldn't order a dessert, such as ice cream or the like. The staff was always friendly and courteous. The location on the Hexensteig is ideal if you want to hike. The ascent to the "white deer" viewpoint above the hotel is easy to climb 😅.

From the outside very attractive, the restaurant is also very nice. Unfortunately no daily cleaning of the room and that with a dog at € 12.50 daily, allegedly because of Corona, only I also had to read here that a year ago it was not cleaned daily because of a lack of staff. It's a shame, doesn't work at all. Advertised flat screen was a tube screen. The bill had to be paid immediately upon arrival and then the "briefing" was done. Breakfast should be paid in cash without an invoice. ??? Our room door was unfortunately not lockable. It's a shame, for the money you could have taken a vacation home.

A very cute, nice run hotel where we always like to come back. Very nice location, here you can switch off completely decelerated. And super nice staff, not to mention ..

Very nice restaurant, which at this time of year only offers shady spots. You may have to wait a little for the written placement. The staff is very friendly and the wild boar sausage with lingonberry mustard is a pleasure, with crispy fries, so definitely recommendable!

Fantastic location in "Sagenharz", the journey alone is worth it! Very nice employees, everything done with care.

The waiter Dolf (?) Very taken with himself, serves dishes in a very idiosyncratic manner in the middle snack level with the words, everything is freshly cooked here!?! Ready-made products warmed up nicely at overpriced prices.

Visually a very attractive restaurant with a nice outdoor area. Unfortunately there was no drinks menu on request and afterwards we had to find out that the prices are quite high (simple tea bag tea € 3.70). One of the spoons was sticky and dirty, which is simply not possible in times of Corona. In our opinion, the cake was a convenience product.

We didn't like it, our waiter wasn't nice and rather a bit rude. We're not coming back here.

We spent a wonderful weekend with you thanks to your good service and the beautiful room. We will definitely come back again. Good luck for.

This is our second time here and we are very satisfied. The rooms are comfortably furnished and the location of the hotel is phenomenal. The staff is very courteous and the food tastes great. Overall, it is highly recommended.

Originally furnished GDR object, with original FDGB waiters! Impossible appearance of the service staff, who in their role, the "people" assigning a place really pops up. Price performance is not right Paired bit of that, cheap soft drinks and overpriced alcoholic beverages with an average range of food, menu on laminated single sheets. The waiter with the hint, ............ "Are you stressed"? ...................... and ".. ........ you are here in the east .... "we probably showed up too early, 5 to 12, 30% of the tables were occupied, the good thing is ........ ... "we are not open yet" ............ !!! Original dialogue! TIP: Be sure to walk past when hiking! Here the mood gets really messed up, unbelievable!

Landed in this wonderful place by chance. Although it was actually closed, we were allowed to stop by. We received an incredibly friendly welcome and can highly recommend the food and the atmosphere. The garden and the design is all very loving. The venison sausage and the fries are the top hit.

We ate cake and drank coffee in the restaurant. The selection of homemade cakes and pies is very large and everything looks very tasty. The marshmallow cake was overwhelmingly good! The staff is very friendly and everyone is from Holland. The food on the other tables looked good throughout. Clear recommendation!

Lovingly managed and designed the Luppbode is really an insider tip as a base for a Harzwanderurlaub. The breakfast is great, the staff lovely and awake, the rooms very comfortable and the bathrooms modern and clean. And there are delicious Glen Els (Harzer Whiskey!) At the bar! Great recommendation!

What a rest and what a beautiful environment, rooms clean and tidy, breakfast very extensive and dinner is a treat. Dutch owner so very easy if you have questions about the area and want to know where the most beautiful places of the Harz are. We will definitely come back again!

Beautiful surroundings right on the forest Hotel is basic basic breakfast is poor The rooms are spacious but poorly furnished. You constantly smell old frit fat in the room, even while sleeping. Food you can choose between sausage and snitsel. The cleaning team also forgets to remove the cobwebs. Actually, jobs and co who run the hotel.

We arrived after a very long drive from the UK via Dusseldorf for a car festival at Pullman City Harz and we were given a wonderfully warm welcome by Dolf and his staff. We arrived late and the chef although had stopped serving by then made us a beautifully presented cold platter. All our party have really enjoyed our 3 day stay and we had some great evenings and more than a few beers chatting with Rolf who is a great character. The food is also very good and reasonably priced 😀
